Rather than raising money through a t-shirt fundraiser or a bake sale, Community Advisors appealed to a more basic instinct last Saturday, April 7: the desire to throw a pie in someone’s face. The “Pie a CA” fundraiser was “tremendously successful,” said Allison Kramer ’12, a CA and one of the organizers of the event. The proceeds, $200 total, went to Housing and Residential Life’s Relay for Life team, which will be competing in the upcoming relay on Saturday, April 14. Approximately 20 CAs, along with Assistant Director for Housing and Residential Life for the First-Year Quad Tobias Uecker, participated. Kramer said the event was “a fun time for everyone involved and a great opportunity to bring people together for a worthy cause.”
